This all-electric servo press brake reduces energy consumption by more than 50% through full electric drive technology, eliminating the pollution and maintenance costs associated with hydraulic oil, and providing mid-to-high-end manufacturing enterprises with a more environmentally friendly and economical bending solution. The SMAX PBD Series All-Electric Press Brake adopts a ball screw servo drive system, delivering ultra-high acceleration/deceleration response and micron-level positioning accuracy. It can be flexibly configured with stroke lengths and force loads to adapt to diverse processing scenarios, from precision sheet metal to heavy-duty deep-box bending. The all-electric architecture creates a quieter and cleaner production environment, while significantly reducing equipment maintenance frequency. Integral Tempering of the Frame600℃

Integral tempering of the press brake frame boasts clear benefits: it eliminates welding/machining internal stresses via high-temp soaking and slow cooling to avoid deformation, enhances toughness and stability, boosts impact and heavy-load resistance, and ensures long-term precision and extended equipment service life.

Overall Shot Blasting of the Frame

Full machine shot blasting removes surface impurities such as rust and welding slag to form a uniform metal surface. Meanwhile, it creates a compressive stress layer to improve hardness and fatigue resistance, adjusts surface roughness to enhance coating adhesion, and eliminates residual machining stresses to reduce the risk of deformation and cracking.

Whole machine mask welding

Full machine manganese plate welding builds a high-strength main structure. It firmly connects components via welding, using manganese plates’ superior strength, toughness and wear resistance to create a heavy-load, impact and abrasion-resistant frame. Good weldability ensures joint quality and tightness, prolonging equipment service life.

The high-quality electric cylinders from SMAX feature high-speed operation and water cooling, ideal for large-tonnage press brakes. HIGH PERFORMANCE

The high capacity ball screws has larger balls diameters in higher quantity. The balls recirculation tubes are positioned at 180° ensuring a better load distribution.

LOW NOISE

By absorbing the movement of the balls in the direction of the tangent to the spindle axis, the impact of the collision with other components is strongly reduced. Compared with the conventional spindle type, the noise is reduced more than 6dB.

GREASE RETENTION

Thanks to the special profile of the spherical screw cavity together with the A1 grease retention seal the grease retention characteristics have been greatly improved compared to conventional plastic seals.

. PLANETARY GEAR - SP+ HIGH SPEED

The High Speed version is suitable for high accuracy positioning and highly dynamic cyclic operation. The SP+ HIGH SPEED gearbox is particularly effective for applications with maximum speeds during continuous operation. The gearbox doesn’t requires maintenance because it has lifetime lubrication. (Only on 40 Ton machines).
